We are delighted to welcome Andy McGonigle to Team Marketing as Mobile Marketing Manager!
As we continue to grow, Andy will be a fantastic addition to the team - bringing with him a wealth of digital marketing and client management experience. With strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, Andy will work with our clients to optimise their campaigns and deliver value on marketing spend across Facebook Messenger, AdNews and display network campaigns. What attracted you to come and work for Digitonic?
I’ve been keeping tabs on Digitonic for a while and was initially attracted to the opportunity to work with new pioneering ad tech that isn’t available elsewhere.
How would you explain your role as a Mobile Marketing Managers?
I’m responsible for managing clients expectations and timelines, relaying work to our specialist marketing team and helping to create concepts and copy for our various services.
What's been your favourite project to have worked on?
As a huge football fan, it has been amazing working with various E-gaming clients in the run-up to the World Cup 2018. A key component of our AdNews product is the circulation of breaking news so I’ve certainly enjoyed finding and optimising sports news over the last few weeks.
What do you find rewarding about the job?
Seeing a campaign through from concept to completion is always really rewarding. We are seeing some amazing stats, especially on our Facebook Messenger service. Relaying these to clients is always a good feeling.
What are the key skills and attributes to success in your role?
Organisation and self-motivation are key skills for this role. It involves knowing the status of lots of campaigns and projects all at once. I think a keen eye for detail is also a good skill to have - I do A LOT of proof-reading.
What motivates you to come to work every day?
Digitonic are at the forefront of mobile marketing so working on something so fresh and new motivates me every day. Our office culture is great and we have an expansive shared skill set, I’ve learned a lot already.
What do you feel is your greatest accomplishment since you started at Digitonic?
I’m fairly new to Digitonic but it has to be pioneering our first venture into Influencer marketing. We understand the importance of engaging, original content over plain adverts and are collaborating with some amazing creators right now.
When do you have the most fun at work?
When we launch a campaign and get to watch the stats in real time. It's pretty special to see a campaign you've created be seen by hundreds of thousands of people.
