Digitonic is continuing to grow, and we are delighted to announce the official opening of our office in New York!! Read on to find out more about Tristan Lillo, our Marketing Operations Manager, and his role in our US office.
What attracted you to come and work for Digitonic?
I first met and started working with the Digitonic team back in 2014 when I was their client at a major UK gambling brand. I quickly learned that Digitonic were not your average digital agency. Their "can do", entrepreneurial attitude never failed to go the extra mile. This strong company ethos resulted in us working together on many profitable campaigns. Fast forward to 2019 and an opportunity presented itself for me to join this amazing team. Being able to work alongside a talented team of marketing professionals with cutting edge technology and pushing the envelope on what can be done in the marketing world was an easy decision. How could I say no?
How would you describe your role as Marketing Operations Manager?
I have the pleasure of being the first Digitonic team member to be permanently based in the United States and open our operation in NYC. I will be supporting current Digitonic clients and also building relationships for future ones. Both of which I am extremely excited and humbled to be given the opportunity to do so. Another part of my role involves designing and building automated marketing solutions for clients and inhouse projects to ensure maximum effectiveness of the highly targeted lead generation campaigns which we run.
What are the key skills and attributes you need to succeed in your role?
We work on many projects at the same time, managing different expectations across multiple campaigns with different levels of complexity and difficulty. It is safe to say that time management, organisation, attention to detail and being able to clearly communicate with the team and clients are all required day to day. However, the best attributes I can have in my role is to be open minded and enthusiastic no matter what is happening.
What motivates you to come to work every day?
The opportunity to work with great people, both internally, and external of Digitonic. Along with knowing that no two days will be the same and that I will always be learning and growing as a marketing professional. An added bonus of my role is the need and opportunity to travel to partners and clients all over North America on a regular basis. What could be better?
What is your favourite thing about working at Digitonic?
Being able to work closely with cutting edge marketing technology is always a bonus for a technology nerd like me, but the best thing about working for Digitonic is the team and their energy. They are all second to none in terms of going the extra mile for both clients and for each other.
